Loop ("Loop", "we", "us") is a personal subscription and bill tracker for iOS and Android. This policy explains what information Loop collects, how it's used, and how it's protected. We don't sell your data, and Loop contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.
Account information. Loop requires a free account to use. When you sign up, we collect the email address and password you provide, handled via Firebase Authentication. Your password is never stored or seen by us in plain text.
Financial tracking data you enter. To provide Loop's core features, we store the information you choose to log: subscription and bill names, prices, billing cycles, due dates, notes, and category assignments. This data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore under your account and syncs across your signed-in devices.
Purchase information (Loop Pro). If you buy Loop Pro, your payment is handled entirely by Google Play — Loop never receives or stores your card details. Google Play sends us a purchase token, which we verify against the Google Play Developer API using a server-side Cloud Function, and record your Pro entitlement against your account.
AI Scan images (optional). If you use "Scan Screenshot with AI" to import subscriptions from a screenshot, the image you select is sent to Google's Gemini model (via Firebase AI Logic) to extract subscription details. The image is used only to perform that extraction — Loop does not store the image afterward. This feature also uses Firebase App Check (Google Play Integrity) to confirm requests come from a genuine copy of the app, which shares limited device-integrity data with Google, not personal information.
Renewal reminders (7 days and 1 day before a subscription or bill is due) are scheduled and delivered locally on your device. They are not routed through a push notification server, and no data about them leaves your device.
Loop has no separate local database — your data lives in Google Cloud Firestore, encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to your own account via Firebase security rules. We use Firebase App Check to help ensure only genuine copies of the Loop app can read or write data.
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers needed to run Loop, each governed by its own privacy policy:

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email us at m.ridhwan.daud@gmail.com. We'll process deletion requests promptly.
Loop is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Contact us at the email below to exercise any of these rights.
We may update this policy as Loop changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
